NOTICE: Regarding Event Format – Updated February 28, 2022

To our Enterprise Data World Community,

We made every effort to bring the Enterprise Data World Conference, scheduled for March 20-25 in San Diego, to you in-person. Unfortunately, due to the uncertainties of the continuing pandemic and the ongoing individual concerns and corporate travel limitations surrounding COVID-19, we did not receive the necessary number of pre-registered attendees to fulfill our contractual obligations to both the conference venue (the Sheraton San Diego) and the expectations of our sponsors, by the contractual deadlines. Because of this, we were unable to proceed with the in-person event.

We are therefore pivoting to a new digital program called EDW Digital, on April 19-20, 2022. This event will be conducted free of charge, and registration will be open shortly. All previously registered attendees, speakers, and sponsors should have received an email regarding these updates. We have also posted additional FAQs to provide clarity around commonly asked questions. If you have any additional concerns, please contact our team at events@dataversity.net for assistance.

On a personal note, I would like to thank you for the trust you have placed in us and for all of your support. While we are disappointed we can’t proceed with the in-person format, we hope to see you at EDW Digital and then later this year one of our in-person DGIQ events in June or December.

Sincerely,

Tony Shaw

Q. Will the virtual event program be different than the in-person event?

A. The agenda for the virtual event will be more limited in scope than the full EDW program, but it will include the same topics and themes. We will share details about the new agenda soon.
